In addition to being the founder of Held Space, Laura Temple is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and the founder of Temple Psychiatry, offering integrative, trauma-informed care for individuals navigating anxiety, panic, depression, burnout, and the lasting impacts of trauma. Her approach blends the science of psychiatry with a deeply human, relational lens—combining thoughtful medication management with mindfulness, somatic healing, and compassion-based practices to support whole-person care. Laura specializes in working with sensitive, self-aware individuals who long to feel safe, connected, and at home in themselves, and she creates a warm, collaborative space where patients can explore what hurts, reconnect with their bodies, and build a more grounded, meaningful life.

Lexie Thrash, MS, LCAT, R-DMT (she/her) a compassionate, holistic, person-centered, and somatically-oriented psychotherapist, artist, and yoga teacher.  Unequivocally LGBTQIA+-affirming and intersectional, Lexie works with individuals, couples, and families with concerns including: family issues/relationship concerns, navigating poly and open relationships, complex trauma, anxiety, and depression.  In tandem with talk therapy and evidence-based practices, authentic movement, breath work, mindfulness, meditation, and/or art making may also be integrated into work together.  Bridging her knowledge of somatics through a lifetime of study in dance and performance, she seeks to support clients on their unique paths toward integration of mind, body, and spirit.

Allyssa Rivera is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist who centers the Body as a site for exploration, understanding, and liberation for herself and the folx she works with. Allyssa integrates trauma-informed somatics, embodied storytelling, and talk therapy frameworks such as Parts Work, DBT, ACT, relational-cultural theory and is committed to decolonizing therapy and being a real human with her clients. Allyssa provides a warm, embodied approach, inviting adults and adolescents to creatively explore their strengths and needs and address relationships, identity, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, substance use, and life transitions. Having been an artist herself, Adrienne specializes in providing care to creative professionals, women, and the LGBTQIA+ and other underserved communities, and her work is informed by the strong belief that before addressing individual mental health needs it is important to first acknowledge and process the broader cultural structures that are often the initial cause of harm.
