Laura Temple

Holistic Psychiatry

Laura is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and the founder of Held Space.  She provides mindful therapy and prescribes medication for the treatment of a wide range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and PTSD. 

Laura specializes in providing trauma-informed care and working with people who have experienced sexual assault.

Alessandra Fabris-Tantawi LCSW, M.Ed, RYT (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker, holistic psychotherapist, integrative trauma specialist, sex therapist, educator and yoga teacher. Alessandra supports predominately BIPOC and LGBTQ+ couples, women, individuals and families to navigate life with more ease and consciousness. Alessandra encourages people to unlearn binary thinking, linear cultural narratives, and ascribed societal labels that hinder happiness and a sense of social connection.

Somatic Psychotherapist

Lexie Thrash, MS, LCAT, R-DMT (she/her) a compassionate, holistic, person-centered, and somatically-oriented psychotherapist, artist, and yoga teacher.  Unequivocally LGBTQIA+-affirming and intersectional, Lexie works with individuals, couples, and families with concerns including: family issues/relationship concerns, navigating poly and open relationships, complex trauma, anxiety, and depression.  In tandem with talk therapy and evidence-based practices, authentic movement, breath work, mindfulness, meditation, and/or art making may also be integrated into work together.  Bridging her knowledge of somatics through a lifetime of study in dance and performance, she seeks to support clients on their unique paths toward integration of mind, body, and spirit.

With a background as a professional dancer and Pilates instructor, she understands the dedication and physical demands of a thriving creative career. Having experienced performance-related injuries herself, Lea knows how deeply physical health impacts creativity, productivity, and well-being. She is honored to serve the Held Space community with a mission focused on helping clients optimize performance and vitality so they can move through life with focus and flow.

Allyssa Rivera

Licensed Creative Arts Therapist

Allyssa Rivera is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist who centers the Body as a site for exploration, understanding, and liberation for herself and the folx she works with. Allyssa integrates trauma-informed somatics, embodied storytelling, and talk therapy frameworks such as Parts Work, DBT, ACT, relational-cultural theory and is committed to decolonizing therapy and being a real human with her clients. Allyssa provides a warm, embodied approach, inviting adults and adolescents to creatively explore their strengths and needs and address relationships, identity, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, substance use, and life transitions. She collaborates with clients to develop an environment that fosters curiosity, growth, and radical acceptance of all parts of the Self.
